Flattery Omelets

Talk is cheap
Thoughts are cheaper

Sowing lies is evil
Certain types grow deeper

Masquerade for everyone
Including yourself

Your beauty won’t last
Packed on that shelf

Your mind is racing
Forgetting to care

Deception always rushing
Honesty has time to spare

You have forgotten your form.
I fear you have left love behind.
There was never a rubric save for the one etched in your mind.

You were always too short.
You needed to impress.
Consumed by this thought, your honor you undressed.

Put your clothes on.
